The histological structure of testis, accessory and mammary glands is studied in adult rats treated by oestradiol benzoate. These organs show an epithelial hyperplasia and a connectivo-muscular hypertrophy. The authors suggest that oestrogens stimulate the epithelial and fibromuscular growth generally, whatever the sex.
