Inhibition of leptospiral agglutination by the nondialyzable delipidized serovar-specific main antigens of leptospiras.

Microscopic agglutination of leptospiras was inhibited by the homologous nondialyzable delipidized serovar-specific main (NDTM) antigens of leptospiras. The agglutination was not inhibited by the heterologous NDTM antigens. The results may indicate that the substance participating in the microscopic agglutination of leptospiras with antiserum is the NDTM antigens.
