The authors examined 118 patients with chronic alcoholism. Taking into consideration the typological personality traits all the patients were divided into 3 groups: cycloid (39 cases), asthenical (41 cases) and hystero-explosive (38 cases). Each group was characterized by distinct clinical traits of alcoholism in their separate symptoms, as well as in the development of the disease as a whole. The authors also distinguish differences in the treatment effectivity of all 3 groups.
作者对118例慢性酒精中毒患者进行了检查。考虑到人格类型特征，所有患者被分为3组：循环型（39例）、虚弱型（41例）和癔症-爆发型（38例）。每组在各自症状以及整个疾病发展过程中都具有酒精中毒的明显临床特征。作者还区分了所有3组在治疗效果上的差异。
