AIDS and STDs are major health problems among Canadian women. The prevention of HIV and STD transmission will possibly be more effective if certain factors pertaining to social status and affecting behaviour patterns are understood and taken into account. The Ottawa Charter can be used as a reference in designing prevention and education programs.
艾滋病和性传播感染是加拿大女性面临的主要健康问题。如果了解并考虑到与社会地位相关且影响行为模式的某些因素，预防艾滋病毒和性传播感染可能会更有效。《渥太华宪章》可作为设计预防和教育项目的参考。
