Investigations on mice of 9 strains of different H-2 genotypes demonstrated that predisposition to anaphylaxis at the stage of the IgG1- and IgE-antibody formation, skin sensitivity to passive anaphylaxis and histamine were unrelated traits. The interaction of these factors with one another and with the other factors formed a general predisposition to the immediate allergy.
