Change of the duration of the light day was shown to tell on biochemical and hormonal parameters in humans living on the North. The contents of T3 significantly increased in peripheral blood, the levels of insulin and urea decreased in March and October. Complex rearrangements of the metabolism in the course of year specific for high latitudes were revealed in humans.
