The study discussed in this article revealed that a group of 30 hospital CEOs and a group of 32 general business CEOs shared similar work-related personality traits. Differences were found on only 2 of 20 traits: Hospital CEOs were significantly less "interested in working with details" and had a lower "need for rules and supervision." However, both groups of CEOs' personalities were different from those of managers in general.
