[The results of cobalt therapy for carcinoma of the larynx (author's transl)].

The effectiveness of cobalt therapy for carcinoma of the larynx in demonstrated by the results obtained: 53% overall survival at 5 years, with 66% for carcinomas of the glottis, and 48% for supra-glottal lésions. The dose-time ratio used was adapted to the tumor category and to the individual reactivity of the patients, local control being obtained in 100, 87, 65 and 25% for T1, T2, T3 and T4 tumours respectively.
