Cataleptic activity of erythrocytes was studied in 31 diphtheria and 10 quinsy patients versus 10 healthy controls. Inhibition of cataleptic activity in diphtheria directly correlated with growing severity of the disease. Such relationship was not found in quinsy.
研究了31例白喉患者和10例扁桃体炎患者红细胞的僵住活性，与10名健康对照者进行对比。白喉患者红细胞僵住活性的抑制与疾病严重程度增加直接相关。扁桃体炎患者未发现这种关系。
