Mongrel guinea pigs were given 3-indolilacrilacid and 2-aminoacetophenon derivates of tryptophan which blastomogenic action was previously revealed in experiments on inbred mice. Both substances produced tumors in animals of the experimental groups earlier than in the control group, this fact showing both the preparations to have blastomogenic effect. The results of the investigation show the possibility of using guinea pigs for studying the blastomogenic action of weak cancerogenic agents to which the endogenic blastomogenic substances belong.
