The etiologic agent of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is virus belonging to Flaviviridae. The infection of humans is caused by bites of infected ticks. The disease is reported mainly in endemic regions. TBE is characterised by seasonal increase in the incidence of the disease. Depending on localizaiton of the inflammatory process in the central nervous system following clinical forms might be specified: meningitis, encephalomeningitis, meningoencephaloradiculitis and meningoencephalomyelitis. After TBE there are serious sequelae observed e.g. various neurological syndromes, mental and intellectual disorders.
蜱传脑炎(TBE)的病原体是黄病毒科病毒。人类感染是由受感染的蜱叮咬所致。该病主要在流行地区有报告。蜱传脑炎的特点是发病率呈季节性上升。根据中枢神经系统炎症过程的部位,可明确以下临床类型:脑膜炎、脑膜脑炎、脑膜脑神经根炎和脑膜脑脊髓炎。蜱传脑炎之后会出现严重的后遗症,如各种神经综合征、精神和智力障碍。
