Abstract

Fifty bacterial strains able to grow at pH 10 and 0 degrees C were isolated from soils, and growth characteristics of three selected strains were investigated. Strain 207, which showed the best growth rate of all the isolates at the conditions described above, could grow at a temperature of -5 to 39 degrees C at pH 8.5. The optimum pH for this strain changed from 9.5 at 10 degrees C to 9.0 at 20 degrees C.

从土壤中分离到 50 株能在 pH 值 10 和 0°C 下生长的细菌菌株,并对其中 3 株选定菌株的生长特性进行了研究。菌株 207 在上述条件下的生长速度最快,能在 pH 值 8.5、-5 至 39°C 的温度下生长。该菌株的最适 pH 值从 10°C 时的 9.5 变为 20°C 时的 9.0。
