Abstract

Two cases of mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) of the larynx are reported. The peculiarities of both cases are emphasized, in particular the site of involvement and the young age of the former and the histological subtype ("clear cell" variant) of the latter. The microscopic differential diagnosis of MEC and its biological behavior according to the grade of differentiation is discussed. The available literature is reviewed.

报告了两例喉黏液表皮样癌（MEC）。强调了这两个病例的特点，特别是前者的受累部位和患者的年轻年龄，以及后者的组织学亚型（“透明细胞”变体）。讨论了MEC的显微镜下鉴别诊断及其根据分化程度的生物学行为。对现有文献进行了综述。
