In the title coordination polymer, Cu(NCS)(2)(C(12)H(8)N(2)), the Cu(II) atom is situated on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by two N atoms from the bidentate 1,10-phenanthroline ligand and four thio-cyanate groups to confer a CuN(4)S(2) octa-hedral geometry and resulting in a layer structure extending parallel to (100).
在标题配位聚合物[Cu(NCS)₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)]ₙ中，Cu(II)原子位于二重旋转轴上，由双齿1,10 - 菲咯啉配体的两个N原子和四个硫氰酸根配位，形成CuN₄S₂八面体几何构型，并产生平行于(100)延伸的层状结构。
