OBJECTIVE
To assess prevalence of interference from hemolysis, lipaemia, icterus in arterial blood gas analysis (ABG).
DESIGN
Serum indices (SI) were assessed in the plasma of ABG samples over a 2-month period.
RESULTS
Out of a total of 478 ABG specimens, we identified 17 hemolyzed samples (4%), 52 (11%) with lipaemia, and 63 (13%) with icterus.
CONCLUSION
Test results on a considerable number of ABG specimens might be unreliable due to presence of interference.
目的
评估动脉血气分析（ABG）中溶血、脂血、黄疸对检测结果的干扰程度。
设计
在两个月的时间里，对 ABG 样本中的血浆血清指数（SI）进行评估。
结果
在总共 478 份 ABG 标本中，我们发现 17 份标本溶血（4%），52 份标本脂血（11%），63 份标本黄疸（13%）。
结论
由于存在干扰，相当数量的 ABG 标本的检测结果可能不可靠。
