Genito-urinary prolapse is a common condition that is not always symptomatic. Only bothersome prolapse should be treated. The treatment is essentially surgical. Two surgical approaches can be used: abdominal, usually laparoscopic or vaginal. A rigorous analysis of anatomical and functional defect is necessary to indicate the most appropriate treatment.
