Staphylococcus epidermidis is a part of the skin's normal flora that can cause acne. This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of nicotinamide as a stick in eradication of staphylococcus.
For evaluating of Anti-microbial effect on S. epidermidis used well plate method. We chose five plates for nicotinamide and five for mupirocin. The zones of inhibition were measured and compared.
The results showed nicotinamide stick had anti-microbial effects, but in comparison to mupirocin it was significantly less (P = 0.003).
Nicotinamide stick was made and evaluated. This study showed that nicotinamide had anti-microbial effect on staphylococcus.
表皮葡萄球菌是皮肤正常菌群的一部分,可导致痤疮。本研究旨在评估烟酰胺棒剂根除葡萄球菌的疗效。
采用平板法评估对表皮葡萄球菌的抗菌效果。我们选择了五块平板用于烟酰胺,五块用于莫匹罗星。测量并比较抑菌圈。
结果显示烟酰胺棒剂具有抗菌作用,但与莫匹罗星相比明显较弱(P = 0.003)。
制备并评估了烟酰胺棒剂。本研究表明烟酰胺对葡萄球菌有抗菌作用。
