Abstract

Two new phenolic acid helisterculins C (1) and D (2) were isolated from the whole plant of Clerodendranthus spicatus. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR, MS, and CD analysis. Compound 1 possesses an unusual bicyclol [2. 2. 2] octane moiety which is rare in the previously isolated phenolic acid derivatives. The two compounds were tested in vitro for neuroprotective activities against 6-OHDA-induced cell death in SH-SY5Y cells, and the result showed that compounds 1 and 2 displayed moderate neuroprotective activity with the IC values of 17.4 and 21.3 μM, respectively.

从肾茶全株中分离得到两种新的酚酸类化合物毛药忍冬素C(1)和D(2)。通过一维和二维核磁共振、质谱以及圆二色光谱分析确定了它们的结构。化合物1具有一个不寻常的双环[2.2.2]辛烷部分,这在先前分离得到的酚酸衍生物中较为罕见。对这两种化合物进行了体外测试,考察其对6-羟基多巴胺诱导的SH-SY5Y细胞死亡的神经保护活性,结果表明化合物1和2表现出中等程度的神经保护活性,IC50值分别为17.4和21.3 μM。
