Six new steroidal saponins, namely glauco-chinaosides A-F, and one known compound were isolated from the tubers of Smilax glauco-china. Their structures were elucidated by a combination of spectroscopic analysis and hydrolysis followed by spectral and chromatographic analysis. Compounds 1-7 were tested in vitro for their cytotoxic activities against four human tumor cell lines (SH-SY5Y, SGC-7901, HCT-116, and Lovo). Compounds 1, 2, and 5 exhibited cytotoxic activity against SGC-7901, with IC values of 2.7, 11.5, and 6.8 μM, respectively.
从菝葜的块茎中分离出6种新的甾体皂苷，即菝葜皂苷A-F，以及1种已知化合物。通过光谱分析、水解后进行光谱和色谱分析相结合的方法阐明了它们的结构。对化合物1-7进行了体外实验，检测其对4种人类肿瘤细胞系（SH-SY5Y、SGC-7901、HCT-116和Lovo）的细胞毒性活性。化合物1、2和5对SGC-7901表现出细胞毒性活性，IC值分别为2.7、11.5和6.8 μM。
