BACKGROUND
A multimodal approach is essential for neck rejuvenation because many factors contribute to the aging of the neck.
OBJECTIVES
We evaluated the effect of combined therapy using microfocused ultrasound with visualization (MFU-V), neuromodulator injection, and filler injection for neck rejuvenation.
METHODS
Subjects were sequentially treated with three kinds of interventions in a single session, as follows: (A) MFU-V or calcium hydroxyapatite injection for restoring skin laxity; (B) hyaluronic acid filler injection for horizontal neck lines; and (C) neuromodulator injection for platysmal bands.
RESULTS
All ten patients showed clinical improvement of neck aging after combined treatment. Patients with more aged neck at baseline were more likely to show greater improvement after treatment.
CONCLUSION
Neck rejuvenation using multimodal approach is effective in Asians.
背景
由于多种因素导致颈部衰老，因此多模式方法对于颈部年轻化至关重要。
目的
我们评估了可视化微聚焦超声（MFU-V）、神经调节剂注射和填充剂注射联合治疗对颈部年轻化的效果。
方法
受试者在单次治疗中依次接受三种干预，具体如下：（A）MFU-V或注射羟基磷灰石以恢复皮肤松弛；（B）注射透明质酸填充剂以改善颈部横纹；（C）注射神经调节剂以改善颈阔肌带。
结果
所有10例患者在联合治疗后颈部衰老均有临床改善。基线时颈部老化程度较重的患者治疗后改善更明显。
结论
多模式方法用于亚洲人的颈部年轻化是有效的。
