Two novel strains, J116-2 and J116-1, were isolated from forest soil and were taxonomically characterized by a polyphasic approach. Both strains were yellow-coloured, Gram-stain-negative, strictly aerobic, non-motile and rod-shaped bacteria. The strains were non-sporulating, catalase-positive and oxidase-negative. Strains J116-2 and J116-1 were able to grow at 20-32 °C, pH 6.0-8.5, and 0-0.5 % (w/v) NaCl concentration. Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence analyses, strains J116-2 and J116-1 formed a distinct lineage within the family Chitinophagaceae of the phylum Bacteroidetes and were closely related to genera Taibaiella (89.86-89.30 % sequence similarity), Falvihumibacter (89.20-89.06 %), Filimonas (89.06 %) and Chitinophaga(89.01-88.77 %). The pairwise sequence similarity between strains J116-2 and J116-1 was found to be 99.86 %. Flexirubin-type pigments were absent in both strains. The only respiratory quinone was menaquinone-7 (MK-7); the major polar lipid was phosphatidylethanolamine; the predominant polyamine was homospermidine; and the major fatty acids were C15 : 0iso, C15 : 1iso G and C17 : 0iso 3-OH. The genomic DNA G+C content values of strains J116-2 and J116-1 were 51.1 and 50.9 mol%, respectively. On the basis of phenotypic, genotypic and phylogenetic analysis, strain J116-2 represents a novel species of a new genus in the family Chitinophagaceae, for which the name Nemorella caseinilytica gen. nov., sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain of Nemorella caseinilytica is J116-2 (=KEMB 9005-550=KACC 19168=NBRC 112827).
从森林土壤中分离出两株新菌株J116 - 2和J116 - 1,并采用多相分类法对其进行分类学特征鉴定。两株菌株均为黄色、革兰氏染色阴性、严格需氧、无运动性的杆状细菌。这些菌株不产芽孢,过氧化氢酶阳性,氧化酶阴性。菌株J116 - 2和J116 - 1能够在20 - 32°C、pH值6.0 - 8.5和0 - 0.5%(w/v)的NaCl浓度下生长。基于16S rRNA基因序列分析,菌株J116 - 2和J116 - 1在拟杆菌门噬几丁质菌科内形成一个独特的分支,与太白菌属(序列相似性为89.86 - 89.30%)、黄腐泥杆菌属(89.20 - 89.06%)、丝单胞菌属(89.06%)和噬几丁质菌属(89.01 - 88.77%)密切相关。菌株J116 - 2和J116 - 1之间的成对序列相似性为99.86%。两株菌株均无flexirubin型色素。唯一的呼吸醌是甲基萘醌-7(MK - 7);主要极性脂是磷脂酰乙醇胺;主要多胺是高亚精胺;主要脂肪酸是C15 : 0iso、C15 : 1iso G和C17 : 0iso 3 - OH。菌株J116 - 2和J116 - 1的基因组DNA G + C含量值分别为51.1和50.9 mol%。基于表型、基因型和系统发育分析,菌株J116 - 2代表噬几丁质菌科一个新属的一个新物种,为此提出新属名为溶酪新鞘菌属(Nomorella caseinilytica),新种名为溶酪新鞘菌(Nomorella caseinilytica)。溶酪新鞘菌的模式菌株为J116 - 2(=KEMB 9005 - 550 = KACC 19168 = NBRC 112827)。
