Abstract

Discovered in swine manure relatively recently, is a gram-positive anaerobic bacilli that has been reported to cause human infections. Its antimicrobial susceptibility, epidemiology and overall pathogenicity are still not fully understood. We report a case of a hardware related soft tissue infection in the right femur caused by following an open reduction internal fixation in a 67 year old immunocompetent woman. The patient was successfully treated with six weeks of ertapenem.

最近在猪粪中发现的一种革兰氏阳性厌氧杆菌,据报道可引起人类感染。其抗菌药敏性、流行病学及整体致病性仍未完全明确。我们报告一例67岁免疫功能正常女性在接受右股骨切开复位内固定术后,由该杆菌引起的与内固定物相关的右股骨软组织感染病例。患者接受了六周的厄他培南治疗,治疗成功。
