The purpose of this retrospective study is to assess implant success rates with various risk factors.
Two hundred patients with a total of 650 implants were selected. Risk factors, such as smoking, antidepressants, bruxism, diabetes, and bone augmentation procedures were considered, and patients were followed up for a period of 8 to 15 years.
Of 650 implants placed, the success rate was 88%, i.e., a total of 572 implants were successful. A total of 78 implants were considered failure; and out of 78, twenty implants were surgically removed.
Based on this study's results, it is concluded that risk factors, such as smoking, bruxism, diabetes, and bone augmentation play an important role in success rate of dental implants.

本回顾性研究的目的是评估具有各种风险因素时种植体的成功率。
选取200例患者,共植入650颗种植体。考虑了吸烟、抗抑郁药、磨牙症、糖尿病和骨增量手术等风险因素,并对患者进行了8至15年的随访。
在植入的650颗种植体中,成功率为88%,即共有572颗种植体成功。共有78颗种植体被认为失败;在78颗中,有20颗通过手术取出。
