In a carbapenem-resistant clinical isolate of sequence type 167, two copies of were found on a 144,225-bp IncF self-transmissible plasmid of the F36:A4:B type. Both genes were located in 11,065-bp regions flanked by two copies of IS The two regions were identical in sequence but were present at different locations on the plasmid, suggesting a duplication of the same region.
