Abstract

AIM

To evaluate and compare the uniformity of angle Kappa adjustment between Oculyzer and Topolyzer Vario topography guided ablation of laser keratomileusis (LASIK) by EX500 excimer laser for myopia.

METHODS

Totally 145 cases (290 consecutive eyes )with myopia received LASIK with a target of emmetropia. The ablation for 86 cases (172 eyes) was guided manually based on Oculyzer topography (study group), while the ablation for 59 cases (118 eyes) was guided automatically by Topolyzer Vario topography (control group). Measurement of adjustment values included data respectively in horizontal and vertical direction of cornea.

RESULTS

Horizontally, synclastic adjustment between manually actual values (dx) and Oculyzer topography guided data (dx) accounts 35.5% in study group, with mean dx/dx of 0.78±0.48; while in control group, synclastic adjustment between automatically actual values (dx) and Oculyzer topography data (dx) accounts 54.2%, with mean dx/dx of 0.79±0.66. Vertically, synclastic adjustment between dy and dy accounts 55.2% in study group, with mean dy/dy of 0.61±0.42; while in control group, synclastic adjustment between dy and dy accounts 66.1%, with mean dy/dy of 0.66±0.65. There was no statistically significant difference in ratio of actual values/Oculyzer topography guided data in horizontal and vertical direction between two groups (=0.951, 0.621).

CONCLUSION

There is high consistency in angle Kappa adjustment guided manually by Oculyzer and guided automatically by Topolyzer Vario topography during corneal refractive surgery by WaveLight EX500 excimer laser.

目的

评估并比较Oculyzer和Topolyzer Vario眼前节分析系统引导的威视EX500准分子激光原位角膜磨镶术(LASIK)治疗近视时角膜Kappa角调整的一致性。

方法

145例(290眼)近视患者接受以正视化为目标的LASIK手术。其中86例(172眼)基于Oculyzer眼前节分析系统进行手动引导消融(研究组),59例(118眼)由Topolyzer Vario眼前节分析系统进行自动引导消融(对照组)。调整值测量包括角膜水平和垂直方向的数据。

结果

水平方向上,研究组手动实际值(dx)与Oculyzer眼前节分析系统引导数据(dx)的同向调整占35.5%,平均dx/dx为0.78±0.48;而对照组自动实际值(dx)与Oculyzer眼前节分析系统数据(dx)的同向调整占54.2%,平均dx/dx为0.79±0.66。垂直方向上,研究组dy与dy的同向调整占55.2%,平均dy/dy为0.61±0.42;而对照组dy与dy的同向调整占66.1%,平均dy/dy为0.66±0.65。两组水平和垂直方向实际值/Oculyzer眼前节分析系统引导数据的比例差异无统计学意义(=0.951,0.621)。

结论

在威视EX500准分子激光角膜屈光手术中,Oculyzer手动引导和Topolyzer Vario眼前节分析系统自动引导的角膜Kappa角调整具有高度一致性。
