The crude polysaccharide (citron seed crude polysaccharide, CSCP) from citron ( Sieb. Ex TANAKA) seed was obtained by water extraction and ethanol precipitation. The results of chemical composition analyses of the CSCP observed that neutral sugar content and uronic acid content were 27.70% and 14.70%, respectively. Monosaccharide composition of the CSCP was as follows in the following order: galacturonic acid+glucuronic acid (14.70 mol%)> arabinose (12.85 mol%)> glucose (4.54 mol%)> galactose (4.32 mol%)> mannose (2.70 mol%)> fucose (1.68 mol%)> rhamnose (1.61 mol%). The total polyphenol contents of the CSCP was 30.42 μg/mL and 86.12 μg/mL at 1 mg/mL and 10 mg/mL, respectively (<0.001). 2,2'-Azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) radical scavenging activity was higher at the concentration of the CSCP 10 mg/mL (47.12%) than that of the CSCP 1 mg/mL (14.02%), (<0.001). The ABTS radical scavenging activity was higher than 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity (14.33%) at the same concentration of the CSCP 10 mg/mL (<0.001). Consequently, in this study, the crude polysaccharide from citron seed may be as a novel potential antioxidant.
采用水提醇沉法从香橼(Sieb. Ex TANAKA)种子中提取得到粗多糖(香橼籽粗多糖,CSCP)。CSCP的化学成分分析结果表明,中性糖含量和糖醛酸含量分别为27.70%和14.70%。CSCP的单糖组成顺序如下:半乳糖醛酸+葡萄糖醛酸(14.70 mol%)>阿拉伯糖(12.85 mol%)>葡萄糖(4.54 mol%)>半乳糖(4.32 mol%)>甘露糖(2.70 mol%)>岩藻糖(1.68 mol%)>鼠李糖(1.61 mol%)。CSCP在1 mg/mL和10 mg/mL时的总多酚含量分别为30.42 μg/mL和86.12 μg/mL(<0.001)。2,2'-联氮-双-(3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸)(ABTS)自由基清除活性在CSCP浓度为10 mg/mL(47.12%)时高于1 mg/mL(14.02%)时(<0.001)。在CSCP浓度为10 mg/mL时,ABTS自由基清除活性高于1, l-二苯基-2-苦基肼自由基清除活性(14.33%)(<0.001)。因此,在本研究中,香橼籽粗多糖可能是一种新型潜在抗氧化剂。
