The aim of the present study was to translate and cross-culturally adapt the Parkinson Fatigue Scale (PFS) into Turkish and to evaluate its reliability and validity.
Between September 2015 and May 2016, a total of 138 patients (84 males, 54 females; mean age 62.8±9.3 years; range, 42 to 83 years) with Parkinson's disease (PD) were included in this study. The Turkish version of the PFS was analyzed for data quality, scaling assumptions, acceptability, reliability, and validity. We used the binary scoring method of the Parkinson Fatigue Scale.
The data quality for the Turkish version of the PFS was excellent. The scaling assumption was acceptable. The scale provided an acceptable internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha was 0.955 for a test and 0.941 for a retest, and corrected item-to-total correlations were ranged from 0.478 to 0.849. The test-retest reliability (correlation coefficients were ranged from 0.650 to 0.875) was adequate. Although the total binary score of the PFS was not associated with demographic and clinical data, it was significantly correlated with some of the clinical rating scale scores, including the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale, Schwab & England Activities of Daily Living Scale, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Epworth Sleepiness Scale, Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index, 36-item Short Form Health Survey, 39-item Parkinson's Disease Questionnaire, and Fatigue Severity Scale.
The Turkish version of the PFS is an acceptable, valid, and reliable tool for the assessment of fatigue in PD patients.
本研究旨在将帕金森疲劳量表（PFS）翻译成土耳其语并进行跨文化调适，同时评估其信度和效度。
2015年9月至2016年5月，本研究共纳入138例帕金森病（PD）患者（男性84例，女性54例；平均年龄62.8±9.3岁；范围42至83岁）。对土耳其语版PFS进行数据质量、量表假设、可接受性、信度和效度分析。我们采用帕金森疲劳量表的二元计分法。
土耳其语版PFS的数据质量极佳。量表假设可接受。该量表具有可接受的内部一致性（测试时Cronbach's alpha为0.955，重测时为0.941，校正后的项目与总分相关性范围为0.478至0.849）。重测信度（相关系数范围为0.650至0.875）足够。尽管PFS的二元总分与人口统计学和临床数据无关，但它与一些临床评定量表得分显著相关，包括统一帕金森病评定量表、施瓦布和英格兰日常生活活动量表、医院焦虑抑郁量表、埃普沃思嗜睡量表、匹兹堡睡眠质量指数、36项简短健康调查问卷、39项帕金森病问卷和疲劳严重程度量表。
