We report here a complete genome sequence of a O1 El Tor (Inaba; sequence type 515 [ST515]) strain isolated from a cholera patient in North Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), which showed a complete deletion (∼80 kb) of the pathogenicity island 1.
