A novel Gram-stain-negative, strictly aerobic, gliding and rod-shaped bacterial strain, designated strain C33, was isolated from Yuncheng Salt Lake, Shanxi, PR China. Strain C33 grows optimally at 37 °C, pH 7.5 and 5.0 % (w/v) NaCl. Cells of strain C33 are 0.3-0.5 µm wide and 1.0-2.0 µm long, catalase-positive and oxidase-positive. The major cellular fatty acids are iso-C and iso-C. The sole respiratory quinone is Q-8. The major polar lipids include phosphatidylethanolamine, diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol, one unidentified aminophospholipid, one unidentified glycolipid and four unidentified lipids. The results of phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicate that strain C33 has the highest similarities to KCTC 42284 (97.4 %), XDB06 (96.5 %) and '' MCCC 1K03442 (95.2 %). The percentage of conserved proteins and average amino acid identity values between strain C33 and its close related species are higher than the threshold for dividing genera, the average nucleotide identity and digital DNA-DNA hybridization values are well below the threshold limits for species delineation. The genomic DNA G+C content is 63.7 mol%. Based on the results of phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic analyses, strain C33 is considered to represent a novel species of the genus , for which the name sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is C33 (=MCCC 1H00413=KCTC 72874).
从中国山西省运城盐湖分离出一株新型革兰氏阴性、严格需氧、滑行且呈杆状的细菌菌株,命名为菌株C33。菌株C33在37°C、pH 7.5和5.0%(w/v)NaCl条件下生长最佳。菌株C33的细胞宽0.3 - 0.5μm,长1.0 - 2.0μm,过氧化氢酶阳性且氧化酶阳性。主要细胞脂肪酸为异-C和异-C。唯一的呼吸醌为Q-8。主要极性脂质包括磷脂酰乙醇胺、二磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰甘油、一种未鉴定的氨基磷脂、一种未鉴定的糖脂和四种未鉴定的脂质。基于16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析结果表明,菌株C33与KCTC 42284(97.4%)、XDB06(96.5%)和''MCCC 1K03442(95.2%)具有最高相似性。菌株C33与其近缘物种之间的保守蛋白百分比和平均氨基酸同一性值高于划分属的阈值,平均核苷酸同一性和数字DNA - DNA杂交值远低于物种界定的阈值范围。基因组DNA G + C含量为63.7mol%。基于表型、化学分类和系统发育分析结果,菌株C33被认为代表属的一个新物种,为此提出新名称sp. nov.。模式菌株为C33(= MCCC 1H00413 = KCTC 72874)。
