Abstract

The common ( Linnaeus 1758) has a significant economic importance and is a highly valued table fish in the Mediterranean region. The paucity of genetic information relating to sparids, despite their growing economic value, provides the impetus for exploring the mitogenomics of this fish group. Here, we sequenced complete mitochondrial genome. The sequence is comprised of 16,652 bp and consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes and a 2 non-coding regions (D-loop and L-origin). The overall nucleotide composition is: 27.5% of A, 28.7% of C, 26.9% of T, and 16.9% of G.

真鲷(林奈,1758年)具有重要的经济价值,是地中海地区备受珍视的食用鱼。尽管鲷科鱼类的经济价值不断增长,但与其相关的遗传信息却很匮乏,这为探索该鱼类群体的线粒体基因组学提供了动力。在此,我们对完整的线粒体基因组进行了测序。该序列由16,652个碱基对组成,包含13个蛋白质编码基因、2个核糖体RNA基因、22个转运RNA基因以及2个非编码区域(D环和L起源)。总体核苷酸组成如下:腺嘌呤(A)占27.5%,胞嘧啶(C)占28.7%,胸腺嘧啶(T)占26.9%,鸟嘌呤(G)占16.9%。
