Abstract

BACKGROUND AND AIM

Job burnout is the psychosocial judgement of the physical and psychological tiredness result to the prolongation emotional pressure associated to the job. This study purposed to assess burnout prevalence among Italian nurses who worked in different contexts.

METHOD

Burnout was assessed by the Italian version of the 22-item Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Service Survey. Data were collected in July and August 2019.

RESULTS

300 Italian nurses voluntary participated in this study. Questionnaire were administered by Google Forms application, were all Italian nurses could participate.

CONCLUSION

Emotional Exhaustion (EE) is the most representative dimension of burnout. This outcome becomes more acute with greater age and seniority in the position, due to the stress and monotony encountered and/or job dissatisfaction.

背景与目的

方法

使用 22 项 Maslach 职业倦怠量表(MBI-Human Services Survey)的意大利语版本评估倦怠。数据于 2019 年 7 月至 8 月收集。

结果

共有 300 名意大利护士自愿参加了这项研究。问卷由 Google 表单应用程序管理,所有意大利护士都可以参与。

结论

情绪枯竭(EE)是倦怠最具代表性的维度。由于压力和单调的工作环境以及工作不满,这种情况在年龄较大和工作经验更丰富的护士中更加严重。
