Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To analyze the expression and its clinical significance of the SEC24D gene in breast cancer.

METHODS

The dataset of breast cancer were searched in the UALCAN database, and the data obtained were mined and combined with literature analysis.

RESULTS

The mRNA expression of the SEC24D gene in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that of breast normal tissues from the UALCAN database ( < 0.05). The promoter methylation levels of the SEC24D gene in breast cancer tissues were lower than that of breast normal tissues ( < 0.05). Survival analysis showed that the relapse-free survival of breast cancer patients with a higher expression of SEC24D gene was significantly worse than those patients with a lower expression of SEC24D ( < 0.05).

CONCLUSION

The SEC24D gene has a high expression in breast cancer tissues and its expression level was related to the prognosis of breast cancer patients.

目的

分析SEC24D基因在乳腺癌中的表达及其临床意义。

方法

在UALCAN数据库中检索乳腺癌数据集,并对获得的数据进行挖掘并结合文献分析。

结果

来自UALCAN数据库的乳腺癌组织中SEC24D基因的mRNA表达显著高于乳腺正常组织(<0.05)。乳腺癌组织中SEC24D基因的启动子甲基化水平低于乳腺正常组织(<0.05)。生存分析显示,SEC24D基因高表达的乳腺癌患者无复发生存显著差于SEC24D低表达的患者(<0.05)。

结论

SEC24D基因在乳腺癌组织中高表达,其表达水平与乳腺癌患者的预后相关。
