Abstract

C. Z. Tang et S. J. Cheng is a species with extremely small populations and is endemic to China. Genetic data of this orchid species is minimal. With the aim to identify appropriate chloroplast markers for the use in conservation biology studies, the plastome of was assembled. The plastome of is 158,314 bp in length and contains a large single copy region of 86,700 bp in length, a small single copy region of 18,452 bp, and a pair of inverted repeats of 26,581 bp. The annotation predicted 114 unique genes, including 80 protein-coding, 30 s, and four s. Seventeen genes contained a single intron and two genes ( and ) have two introns. The GC content of is 36.9%. Phylogenetic analysis indicated is closely related to and it also supported that and are sister groups. The plastome data reported in this study will contribute to further studies of phylogeny and conservation of species.

唐CZ和程SJ是一种种群数量极少且为中国特有的物种。该兰花物种的遗传数据极少。为了确定适用于保护生物学研究的叶绿体标记,组装了该物种的质体基因组。该物种的质体基因组长度为158,314 bp,包含一个长度为86,700 bp的大单拷贝区域、一个长度为18,452 bp的小单拷贝区域以及一对长度为26,581 bp的反向重复序列。注释预测有114个独特基因,包括80个蛋白质编码基因、30个tRNA基因和4个rRNA基因。17个基因含有一个内含子,两个基因(和)有两个内含子。该物种的GC含量为36.9%。系统发育分析表明该物种与密切相关,也支持和是姐妹群。本研究报道的质体基因组数据将有助于该物种系统发育和保护的进一步研究。
