Abstract

In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of the New Guinea tiger fish (Whitley 1938) (Lobotiformes: Datnioididae) was sequenced by next-generation sequencing method. The assembled mitochondrial genome consists of 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNA genes, and two ribosomal RNA genes, with a length of 16,416 bp. The total base composition of the mitogenome of was 29.31% for A, 29.02% for C, 15.14% for G and 26.54% for T. A phylogenetic tree based on 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs) provides important molecular data for further phylogeographic and evolutionary analysis of Lobotiformes.

在本研究中,采用下一代测序方法对新几内亚虎鱼(惠特利,1938年)(鲹形目:松鲷科)的完整线粒体基因组序列进行了测序。组装后的线粒体基因组由13个蛋白质编码基因、22个转运RNA基因和两个核糖体RNA基因组成,长度为16416 bp。该线粒体基因组的总碱基组成为:A占29.31%,C占29.02%,G占15.14%,T占26.54%。基于13个蛋白质编码基因构建的系统发育树为鲹形目进一步的系统地理学和进化分析提供了重要的分子数据。
