Myopia prevention and control has become one of the difficulties of eye health in China. Previous studies have focused on the effect of myopia control, but less on the visual performance and visual quality caused by various approaches to myopia control for adolescents. On one hand, most of the prevention methods can achieve myopia control by affecting retinal imaging. On the other hand, they can affect the visual quality and even the quality of daily life. Therefore, a balance between myopia control effects and visual quality needs to be considered in clinical work.
