can colonize the submucosal layer as well as the mucosa in the stomach. Inflammation and erosions cause both mucosal and submucosal thickening in patients with gastritis. Elastography is a method for measuring the elasticity and hardness of tissues by visualization of their response to the applied force. Hard tissues respond to applied compression differently compared to soft tissues. Hard tissues displace as a whole without deforming as opposed to soft tissues. In this study, we investigated the diagnostic performance of transabdominal ultrasound elastography in detecting gastritis in children.
Nineteen children (group 1) with gastritis, 33 children (group 2) with (-) gastritis and 37 healthy children (group 3) were included the study. These groups were compared in terms of their strain index values. Ultrasonographic examinations were performed with a single transducer at 1.8-6.2 MHz frequency range.
Both group 1 and 2 had significantly higher strain index values compared to the control group (2.7, 2.2 and 1.4 respectively). Additionally, the mean strain index value was significantly higher in group 1 compared to group 2.
Transabdominal ultrasound elastography has diagnostic value in differentiating (+) gastritis from (-) gastritis as well as in the diagnosis of gastritis in children.
幽门螺杆菌可定植于胃黏膜下层以及胃黏膜。胃炎患者的炎症和糜烂会导致黏膜和黏膜下层增厚。弹性成像技术是一种通过观察组织对施加力的反应来测量组织弹性和硬度的方法。与软组织相比，硬组织对施加的压力反应不同。硬组织整体移位而不发生变形，而软组织则不然。在本研究中，我们调查了经腹超声弹性成像技术在检测儿童胃炎方面的诊断性能。
本研究纳入了19名患有胃炎的儿童（第1组）、33名幽门螺杆菌阴性胃炎儿童（第2组）和37名健康儿童（第3组）。对这些组的应变指数值进行比较。使用单个换能器在1.8 - 6.2MHz频率范围内进行超声检查。
第1组和第2组的应变指数值均显著高于对照组（分别为2.7、2.2和1.4）。此外，第1组的平均应变指数值显著高于第2组。
经腹超声弹性成像技术在区分幽门螺杆菌阳性胃炎和幽门螺杆菌阴性胃炎以及诊断儿童胃炎方面具有诊断价值。
