Abstract

INTRODUCTION

In the present study the cytotoxic and genotoxic effects of Bisphenol-A glycidyl methacrylate (BisGMA) was studied on the third instar larvae of transgenic ().

MATERIALS AND METHODS

The concentration of BisGMA i.e. 0.005, 0.010, 0.015 and 0.020 M were established in diet and the larvae were allowed to feed on it for 24 h.

RESULTS

A dose dependent significant increase in the activity of β was observed compared to control. A significant dose dependent tissue damage was observed in the larvae exposed to 0.010, 0.015 and 0.020 M of BisGMA compared to control. A dose dependent significant increase in the Oxidative stress markers was observed compared to control. BisGMA also exhibit significant DNA damaged in the third instar larvae of transgenic () at the doses of 0.010, 0.015 and 0.020 M compared to control.

CONCLUSION

BisGMA at 0.010, 0.015 and 0.020 M was found to be cytotoxic for the third instar larvae of transgenic D. melanogaster (hsp70-lacZ) Bg9.

引言

在本研究中,研究了甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯双酚A(BisGMA)对转基因()三龄幼虫的细胞毒性和遗传毒性。

材料与方法

在饲料中设定BisGMA的浓度,即0.005、0.010、0.015和0.020 M,并让幼虫以其为食24小时。

结果

与对照组相比,观察到β活性呈剂量依赖性显著增加。与对照组相比,在暴露于0.010、0.015和0.020 M BisGMA的幼虫中观察到显著的剂量依赖性组织损伤。与对照组相比,观察到氧化应激标志物呈剂量依赖性显著增加。与对照组相比,BisGMA在0.010、0.015和0.020 M剂量下也对转基因黑腹果蝇(hsp70-lacZ)Bg9的三龄幼虫表现出显著DNA损伤。

结论
