Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual (the heart cockle; Mollusca; Bivalvia; Cardiida; Cardiidae). The genome sequence is 1,206.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 19 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 92.77 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 70,309 protein-coding genes.
