Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual male (the yellow-girdled ; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Syrphidae). The genome sequence spans 1,054.90 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 5 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 18.39 kilobases in length.
