BACKGROUND: Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is increasingly treated with procedures. However, there is a lack of relevant systematic evaluation articles. Therefore, this study aims to explore the research landscape of PTC thermal ablation through bibliometric analysis. METHODS: We searched publications related to PTC thermal ablation therapy from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2023, from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). Subsequently, bibliometric analyses were then performed using the R package "bibliometrix", as well as VOSviewer and CiteSpace software, to visualize data on countries, institutions, journals, authors, keywords, and references. RESULTS: A total of 283 publications from 17 countries were retrieved, and the number of publications had shown a steady increase over the past decade, with China, the USA and South Korea being the top three contributing countries. The Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital was the most prolific institution, with the being the most frequent publisher. The author with the highest number of publications was Yukun Luo. "Radiofrequency ablation" was identified as the most commonly used keyword, indicating a potential research hotspot for the future. CONCLUSIONS: This bibliometric study comprehensively analyzed publications on PTC thermal ablation, providing valuable insights into the history and current status of this research field, while also offering guidance for future research directions.
背景:甲状腺乳头状癌(PTC)越来越多地采用手术治疗。然而,缺乏相关的系统评价文章。因此,本研究旨在通过文献计量分析探索PTC热消融的研究现状。 方法:我们从科学网核心合集(WoSCC)中检索了2000年1月1日至2023年12月31日期间与PTC热消融治疗相关的出版物。随后,使用R包“bibliometrix”以及VOSviewer和CiteSpace软件进行文献计量分析,以可视化关于国家、机构、期刊、作者、关键词和参考文献的数据。 结果:共检索到来自17个国家的283篇出版物,过去十年出版物数量呈稳步增长,中国、美国和韩国是贡献最大的三个国家。中国人民解放军总医院是发文量最多的机构,是最频繁的出版商。发表文章数量最多的作者是罗宇坤。“射频消融”被确定为最常用的关键词,表明这是未来潜在的研究热点。 结论:这项文献计量研究全面分析了PTC热消融的出版物,为该研究领域的历史和现状提供了有价值的见解,同时也为未来的研究方向提供了指导。
