The unequal distribution of social and digital determinants of health generates axes of inequity that may affect both the general population and healthcare professionals in their practice. This article explores specific social determinants that influence the use of digital health services. Regarding healthcare professionals, available evidence is limited. This study presents the perceptions and reflections of a focus group of family physicians on the use of digital tools. The participants expressed concern about inequities in access among patients, as well as difficulties related to access, use, and quality of use of these tools. Many of these issues could be addressed through professional training strategies and the availability of secure and high-speed internet connections in healthcare centers.
