Improving student clinical experiences.

A sound clinical experience provides the nursing student with the framework necessary to transfer classroom learning to actual patient care. Hospitals and related health care facilities, therefore, are vital components of the teaching process in a nursing education program. However, it is up to the faculty to make wise use of these facilities and their learning potential.
