Abstract
Imidazo [4,5-b] pyridine-2-carboxylic acid 2, its methyl ester 5, amide 7, hydrazide 12, hydrazone 14, nitrile 16, thioamide 18, and amidoxime 20 were synthesized. By methylation of acid 2 with diazomethane N3-CH3 derivatives of the above mentioned compounds were obtained. The resulting compounds displayed low tuberculostatic activity.

合成了咪唑并[4,5 - b]吡啶 - 2 - 羧酸2、其甲酯5、酰胺7、酰肼12、腙14、腈16、硫代酰胺18和偕胺肟20。通过用重氮甲烷将酸2甲基化，得到上述化合物的N3 - CH3衍生物。所得化合物显示出低的抗结核活性。
