Abstract
Two dosage schedules, 8 mg/kg per dose daily and 10 mg/kg per dose tds of choline theophyllinate were evaluated in asthmatic children. The times of the doses were considered the most practical for use outside hospital. Theophylline levels were measured 2 hours after each dose and were satisfactory in both schedules. The levels before the first dose of the day were, however, unsatisfactory. We emphasis the desirability of measuring blood levels in any patient receiving a theophylline compound.

在哮喘儿童中评估了两种茶碱胆碱的给药方案，即每日每剂8毫克/千克和每日三次、每剂10毫克/千克。给药时间被认为是在院外使用时最实用的。每次给药后2小时测量茶碱水平，两种方案的结果均令人满意。然而，当日第一剂之前的水平并不理想。我们强调，对任何接受茶碱化合物治疗的患者进行血药浓度检测都是可取的。
