Abstract

As a preliminary to research on phenomena connected with the appearance of maximal responses in the isolated rat vas deferens greater than those obtainable with noradrenaline, the responses to noradrenaline, octopamine and thyramine under various experimental conditions are discussed. Octopamine give maximal responses which are consistently greater than those with noradrenaline but the differences are scarcely significant. Variation of the Ca2+ concentration in the physiological solution affects response to the three amines in a different way. It appears that when there is an indirect component in the mechanism of action, lack of Ca2+ has less effect on the activity of the compound.

作为对与分离的大鼠输精管中出现大于去甲肾上腺素所能引起的最大反应相关现象进行研究的前期工作,本文讨论了在各种实验条件下对去甲肾上腺素、章鱼胺和酪胺的反应。章鱼胺产生的最大反应始终大于去甲肾上腺素产生的最大反应,但差异几乎不显著。生理溶液中Ca2+浓度的变化对这三种胺的反应有不同影响。似乎当作用机制中有间接成分时,Ca2+缺乏对该化合物活性的影响较小。
