The content of glycoproteins carbohydrate components in rat liver subcellular elements was studied as affected by thyroidectomy and administration of L-thyroxin different doses. It is established that thyroidectomy causes a significant decrease in the level of all carbohydrate components of glycoproteins in the liver subcellular elements. Their content gradually normalizes under L-thyroxin administration. The time needed for the normalization of glycoproteins and their components in the liver subcellular elements depends on the dose and duration of the hormone administration.
