The effects of PMSG on the mitotic activity of granulosa cells and atresia of large folicles in 24-day-old rats were examined. The results showed that the labelling index (1) decreased in atretic follicles parallel with a loss of FSH binding, and (2) increased in hypophysectomized rats treated with FSH. It is concluded that FSH stimulates granulosa cell divisions and that atresia may be caused by reduced binding of FSH to the granulosa cells.
研究了孕马血清促性腺激素(PMSG)对24日龄大鼠颗粒细胞有丝分裂活性和大卵泡闭锁的影响。结果表明:(1)闭锁卵泡中的标记指数(1)随着促卵泡素(FSH)结合能力的丧失而降低;(2)在接受FSH治疗的垂体切除大鼠中标记指数升高。得出的结论是,FSH刺激颗粒细胞分裂,而闭锁可能是由于FSH与颗粒细胞的结合减少所致。
