Abstract
A new serological test, diffusion in gel-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (DIG-ELISA) was developed and compared with the microscopic agglutination test (MAT) for the serological diagnosis of leptospirosis. The results suggest that DIG-ELISA is a viable alternative to the MAT because of its simplicity, sensitivity, versatility and potential for standardisation.

一种新的血清学检测方法——凝胶扩散-酶联免疫吸附测定法（DIG-ELISA）被开发出来，并与显微镜凝集试验（MAT）进行比较，用于钩端螺旋体病的血清学诊断。结果表明，DIG-ELISA因其简单、灵敏、通用且具有标准化潜力，是MAT的一种可行替代方法。
