Abstract

The copper content of astrocytomas and glioblastomas was investigated by the cuproin-method. It could be shown, that the peritumoral tissue of glioblastomas contains more copper than the tumour tissue itself. In astrocytomas, on the other hand, more copper was detected in the central parts of the tumours.
