The influence of radiotherapy in 10 patients and chemotherapy in 5 patients, on DNA excision repair capacity was investigated in lymphocytes of the peripheral blood. No effects on DNA repair were found using only betatrone of 60Co-irradiation under normal conditions. Combination of both irradiation schedules over a longer period of therapy provoked an inhibition of DNA repair. Chemotherapy inhibits DNA repair immediately after starting therapy, but after a relatively short time, the extent of DNA repair increases above normal level.
研究了10例接受放疗和5例接受化疗的患者对外周血淋巴细胞DNA切除修复能力的影响。在正常条件下,仅使用60钴照射或电子感应加速器照射对DNA修复没有影响。在较长疗程中联合使用这两种照射方案会抑制DNA修复。化疗在开始治疗后立即抑制DNA修复,但在相对较短的时间后,DNA修复程度会增加到正常水平以上。
